This year, we were delighted to partner with Spirit Radio to celebrate nurses through our annual #CelebrateNurses Draw.
Congratulations to Susan, our nominated nurse, who received a €200 gift voucher in recognition of her outstanding care, compassion and dedication.
Congratulations also to Stephen, who took the time to nominate Susan. As the selected entrant in our annual draw, Stephen received a €100 gift voucher for sharing his heartfelt message of appreciation.
Thank you to Spirit Radio for partnering with us, and to everyone who took the time to celebrate the nurses who make such a positive difference in our lives every day.

Medical services in Ireland have been supported by nurses coming in from overseas. Here’s a nursing student from India talking about how while nursing wasn’t her first career choice, she’s found that it is the right profession for her.
Here’s what been happening over the past few days:
We’ve been out and about on O’Connell Street and met people from all over the world and Ireland who wanted to send their messages of thanks to nurses for International Day.
We were at the Alzheimer’s Cafe, Donnybrook and the #CelebrateNurses kicked off there with participants leaving messages of thanks to the nurses that made a difference in their lives.
We had #CelebrateNurses themed treat’s at this month’s Alzheimer’s Café meeting.
Aaron’s artwork and Bláthnaid’s model, Millie the dog were the voted the favourites.
Three Q Staff got involved in the celebrations. Costina & Irina made a thank you video and Simon did a special run to spell out NURSES RULE!
Christina and Bláthnaid got family and friends to #CelebrateNurses by leaving messages of thanks to the Nurses in their lives.
